TMI Episcopal

Christian School for grades 6-12 in San Antonio. Not currently in the TEFA finder. Below: what funding fits, what the public records show, and what to ask.

Where this comes from. TEFA participation is from the Texas Education Freedom Accounts participating-school finder (Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts), which we checked on October 11, 2026. Enrollment, teachers, religious orientation and associations are from the NCES Private School Survey (U.S. Department of Education) (2023-24, or 2021-22 where noted). Neither source reports tuition, so confirm tuition with the school.

TMI Episcopal was not in the Texas TEFA participating-school finder when we checked on October 11, 2026. Schools can apply at any time if they meet the accreditation and two-year operating requirements, so ask whether it has applied. Meanwhile, look at the school's own aid, the federal scholarship tax credit starting in January 2027, and the participating schools nearby listed below.

Christian schools often offer church-member rates, sponsorships and sibling discounts, and the state's guidelines say those discounts must continue for TEFA families. Church-run schools may also qualify for the Edu Fund partner scholarship, which has no income cap.

Questions to ask

  1. Have you applied to TEFA, and when do you expect a decision?
  2. What is tuition for my child's grade, and which fees (registration, books, technology, uniforms, lunch) can come from the account?
  3. Which discounts do you offer, such as sibling, church member or military, and what aid is there for the balance?
  4. Will you accept the TEFA payment schedule (25% July, 25% October, 50% February), or do you need a deposit from personal funds?
  5. Which dual-credit partners do you use, and can those course fees come from the account?
