AmFaith: an online Christian school priced near the homeschool account

AmFaith (American Faith Academy) is an online classical Christian K-12 school priced at about $2,260 for K-2 and $3,000 for grades 3-12. Here's how that lines up with the Texas funding tiers.

Next to the $2,000 account

For a homeschool student, AmFaith's price is close to the $2,000 TEFA homeschool amount. The difference is $260 to $1,000 a year, depending on grade.

Check approval first

An online program can be paid from a TEFA account only after it is approved: as a participating school (accredited, two years operating, a Texas office) or as a marketplace provider. Confirm AmFaith's current Texas status before you count on the account.

Inside a church learning community

Some San Antonio congregations are looking at hosting online students two or three days a week. The church provides the room, the community and an on-site adult, and the online school provides the courses. After accreditation and two years of operation, a community like that can apply to TEFA as a school.

Disclosure

AmFaith isn't a paid sponsor of this site. We describe it because its pricing fits the Texas tiers, and we treat it like any other school.
